Mintage: 136. Extremely low emissions are typical for the coronet half-eagle gold pieces, and even such small figures tend to suffer attrition through melting or other mishandling. A byproduct of improper wiping, this example shows wispy hairlines through the fields, but they are not so prominent as to be distracting. More important to the enthusiast, the details are absolutely razor sharp and thoroughly struck, the reverse showing an especially clean, pronounced strike. Both sides are now lathered in surprisingly nice, rich golden hue.
