Strong eye appeal comes from the strong contrast between the mirror fields and the frosted devices. Hints of gold blend with a frosty white “hazy” tone. Some hairlines in the fields account for the assigned grade. Overall this coin would make a nice addition to any PR Trade dollar set. The PR mintage was 900 pieces. PCGS 37, NGC 20. The last one sold for $4,114 in the 2017 FUN auction, and before that, one sold for $3,995 in the 2016 ANA auction. The current CU value is listed at $3,750.
