Lot Description

1858 Pattern Indian Cent. Judd-208, Pollock-259. Rarity-1. Copper-Nickel. Plain Edge. MS-64 (PCGS). An attractive pattern cent with boldly struck devices and smooth, olive-tan surfaces with strong peach-gold undertones. A few insignificant carbon flecks occur on each side, but there are no abrasions or other signs of mishandling to report. The obverse is the same as that used for regular-issue Indian cents from 1860 to 1864. The reverse shows ONE CENT surrounded by a laurel wreath with clusters of five leaves. PCGS# 11885.
