Sitting just outside of Condition Census for the 1822 O-105 dies, this lovely example has much to recommend it to both Mint State type collectors and Bust half dollar enthusiasts. Iridescent toning in silver-apricot blankets both sides, yielding to mottled powder blue and reddish-russet in isolated peripheral areas. Boldly struck and lustrous with a pleasantly smooth appearance overall. Die State 105.2.
