1842 Liberty Seated Quarter. Large Date. Briggs 1-A. MS-62 (NGC). CAC. This example is from a low-mintage issue of just 88,000 coins, which is surprisingly available in circulated grades, but becomes very scarce in Mint State. This example is draped in warm shades of russet-gold and autumn-brown that are blended together on the two sides. It is well struck with clean, unabraded surfaces. PCGS# 5401.
