Lot Description

BB Die State III, Salyards Die State I. Well centered for the type, especially on the obverse, this piece is softly struck in the centers, yet offers appreciably bolder detail toward the borders. The surfaces are attractively original in preservation and toned in warm olive-gray. There are neither distracting adjustment marks nor mentionable post-production blemishes.
