1854-O Liberty Eagle. Small Date. AU-58 (NGC). CAC. Scarce in all grades, these Small Date pieces are scarce in high grades. Notice the delicate olive-gold toning at the rims with the balance of the coin more orange-gold overall. The strike is average on the stars and eagle, while the surfaces are smooth with minimal marks. Interesting die crack splits the upper loop of the 8 toward Liberty's bust from the rim.
