Deep, rich, but not dark or drab toning is brought out by a bold mirrored reflection on this GEM. A popular Civil War issue that had a low mintage and low survival rate in GEM grade. One look and you will appreciate the great eye appeal. Only 550 Proofs were struck. PCGS 8, NGC 9. None have sold in nearly five years and the last PCGS PR66 sold in 1997!
