1898-O Barber Dime. MS-65 (NGC). This richly patinated Gem exhibits vivid salmon-pink, pale-gold and olive-russet highlights to a base of dominant antique-copper toning. Both sides are fully struck, and there are no outwardly distracting abrasions. The conditionally challenging 1898-O is the sixth-rarest of 17 New Orleans Mint Barber Dimes in Gem Mint State.
