- 1886 Liberty Nickel. EF-45 (PCGS). Medium steel-gray with attractive golden overtones. No serious marks are seen, even under low magnification. The most important key date in the series after the 1885 rarity, the 1886 easily rivals the low-mintage 1912-S for prominence. Choice for the grade. PCGS# 3847.
