1869 Pattern Dime. Judd-706, Pollock-785. Rarity-7-. Aluminum. Reeded Edge. Proof-65 Deep Cameo (PCGS). Secure Holder. Obv: Standard Silver bust of Liberty facing right wearing ribbon around her head and small, pointed tiara. Above is UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and below on a raised scroll ribbon is IN GOD WE TRUST. Rev: an open wreath of laurel with fruit on the left, right of oak with acorns, within is 10 / CENTS. Above the wreath is STANDARD SILVER and below 1869. Of the handful seen of this rare pattern issue this is the finest certified by PCGS in any grade category and the only example with the Deep Cameo or even Cameo contrast. Boldly struck throughout with a formidable wire rim on both sides and fully brilliant silver-white aluminum with no specks, spots or any handling issues present.
