- The strike is off center to 1 o'clock relative to the obverse, leaving portions of unstruck flan beyond the border denticulation at lower left obverse, upper left reverse. Somewhat dusky golden-brown surfaces are boldly defined for those features that are on the flan. No marks of note, although there is an obverse spot on Washington's coat. This is a scarcer Washington <em>Guide Book</em> type, the present example rare as a major minting error.
