This is the final San Francisco Mint issue of the type, the offered coin in PCGS MS-67 one of the finest from an approximate net mintage of 41,802 pieces after more than 80,000 pieces were returned to the Mint for melting when they failed to sell to contemporary collectors. Dusted with pale silver and gold iridescence, both sides are fully lustrous and expectably smooth for the assigned grade.
