1800 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. B-14, BB-194. Rarity-3. BB Die State III. Dotted Date. AU-53 (PCGS). An attractive "daddy" dollar, the present coin is warm olive-gray throughout with some retained luster in Miss Liberty's tresses and in the eagle's wing feathers.The devices are as bold as ever seen, and surface marks or blemishes are all but non-existent, especially to the naked eye. A series of <em>raised </em>dots and squiggles around the first cypher in the date gives this variety its well-known moniker. Choice and appealing and certain to catch the attention of serious Bust dollar collectors.
