1834 Matron Head Cent. N-2. Rarity-1. Small 8, Large Stars, Medium Letters. MS-64 BN (PCGS). CAC. Lovely steel-brown surfaces with swirls of deeper charcoal gray scattered about. Smooth and satiny in hand, with sharp central definition to further enhance the appeal of this pleasing near-Gem. The dies are overall well centered, with the obverse just slightly drawn towards 12 o'clock. Cracks connect the surrounding elements on each side equivalent to Noyes Die State B/C.
