1824/1 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-102. Rarity-5+. Good-6 (PCGS). Rare and desirable in all grades, this example was recently discovered and attributed. The fields are gunmetal gray which offsets the lighter silver devices. Despite the degree of circulation, the surfaces are smooth and clean for the grade with no rim bumps or distracting nicks or scratches seen. An important offering for the specialist who demands eye appeal and rarity. PCGS# 6139.
