1829 Capped Bust Dime. JR-2. Rarity-2. Square-Base 2, Large 10C. AU-58 (NGC). A semi-prooflike obverse yields to a more uniformly satin-textured reverse. Both sides exhibit light golden-gray iridescence to surfaces that are free of singularly distracting abrasions. Suitably bold in strike.
