1857 Braided Hair Cent. N-1. Rarity-1. Grellman Die State a. Large Date. MS-65 BN (NGC). Satin brown luster with the toning even and attractive. One faint trace of verdigris mixed into the wreath. Boldly struck throughout on Liberty's hair and the wreath, with one minor low area below CENT in the field. Free of handling issues and a delight to represent this final official year of large cent production.
