1824/4 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-110. Rarity-2. MS-64 (PCGS). Soft silver-gray patina blankets both sides evenly, the surfaces fully lustrous with a satin-to-softly frosted texture. The devices are sharply defined apart from the stars, and there are no detracting abrasions to limit the eye appeal. Solid Choice quality for one of the two Recut 4 varieties among 1824 Capped Bust Half Dollar die marriages. Worthy of a strong bid. Provenance: From the Richard Jewell Collection.
