VERY SCARCE in all grades as the 22,000 mintage would suggest! Totally original and eye appealing, this coin has the eye appeal of a higher grade coin, with very little perceptible wear. Thick toning on both sides adds to the eye appeal. PCGS 6, NGC 2, CAC 1. No AU50 coins have ever sold in auction. In January 2012, a PCGS AU53 CAC sold for $1,380.
