Losbeschreibung: A very difficult to find date, one of only 40,000 struck just prior to the Civil War. The present coin is in an excellent collector quality grade, exactly the type of coin that many collectors covet. Pleasing and totally original, both sides show only moderate, problem free wear. There is a wealth of blue/gray toning, similar shades to the uniforms that would fight over the city where this coin was minted just two years later. PCGS 13, NGC 2, CAC 4. The last time a PCGS/CAC coin sold in auction was nearly 8 years ago, realizing $2,185. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,800 and the CAC CPG value is $2,750.
