1878 Morgan Silver Dollar. 7/8 Tailfeathers. Weak. VAM-44. Top 100 Variety. 7/5 Tailfeathers, Tripled Blossoms. AU-50 (PCGS). With light iridescent gold tinting to the obverse, the reverse is mostly brilliant. Both sides are lustrous for the grade and sharply defined overall. Some bagginess to the appearance explains the AU-50 grade more so than wear, which is light enough to suggest a Choice About Uncirculated rating. Provenance: From the Rick Collection, Part I.
