1817 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-107. Rarity-3. AU-55 (NGC). Dusky gray-gold hues throughout with pleasing surfaces. A later die state with a moderate die crack through the upper reverse including the scroll, another on the lower right splitting the C of AMERICA to the eagle's wing. The strike is fair on the obverse, softer on the reverse on the upper left wing and eagle's head.
