1796 Draped Bust Half Dime. LM-1, V-1. Rarity-3. VF-35 (PCGS). OGH. One of only two dates in the Draped Bust, Small Eagle Half Dime series, this mid-grade 1796 is sure to be of keen interest to circulated type collectors. Uncommonly sharp for the assigned grade, the surfaces are a bit glossy in texture, yet free of distracting abrasions. Smoky silver-apricot patina blankets both sides.
