THE OGDEN AVENUE LADIES One of the FINEST CAMEO Proof 1891 nickels that exists to this day, bested by only a pair of PR67+ CAMs. The mirrors are deep, clean and have the utmost clarity, with a bold flash and reflection. The frostiness of the devices stand out in fine fashion, imparting an exceptional contrast. A light line can be seen with the aid of a strong glass, but they can be overlooked. There is a streak of iridescent gold across the obverse that enlivens the surfaces. What a great looking coin. PCGS 2, NGC 2. This one is the most recent example to sell in auction, realizing $2,585 back in September 2016. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,950.
