FROM THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION PART III From the obverse this VERY CHOICE Mint State 1877 half dollar looks like a GEM Proof, that is how reflective the brilliant lustrous surfaces are. The reverse is more evenly textured with a bold untoned satiny frost. Generally well struck, this coin is beautiful and has a great look! PCGS 50, NGC 42, CAC 9. No PCGS/CAC coin has sold in over 3 years, and the most recent examples sold between $1,058 and $1,293. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $1,300 and the CAC CPG value is $1,310.
