1805/4 Draped Bust Half Dollar. O-102, T-5. Rarity-3. VF-20 (PCGS). The obverse of this half dollar is boldly toned in a blend of steel-blue, golden-gray and brick red, while the reverse exhibits russet-gray peripheral patina around a pearl gray center. Both sides are well defined for the grade with a pleasingly smooth appearance. This popular overdate variety would nicely represent this early half dollar design type. PCGS# 6070. NGC ID: 24EH.
