- 1831 Capped Bust Quarter. B-5. Rarity-3. Large Letters. MS-63 (PCGS). The PCGS insert incorrectly attributes this coin as an example of the Small Letters <em>Guide Book </em>variety. This is a brightly lustrous, satin-textured coin with no toning apart from the lightest golden iridescence along the left borders. Generally sharp in strike, and free of worrisome abrasions.
