1811 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-108. Rarity-2. Small 8. MS-62 (NGC). In Mint State, all early and Capped Bust half dollars are scare to rare, and this issue is no exception. The currently offered example displays well struck, unworn design motifs and pleasing layers of dusky original toning. Fully lustrous with no obvious or distracting abrasions on either side. The reverse is rotated clockwise by approximately forty-five degrees, in relation to the obverse.
