Rum'n'Cola Collection. WB-102 (R.2) The attribution here is a cinch because of a small, depressed center dot on Liberty's leg, and before collectors began aggressively looking at seated half-dollars for varieties, it was thought to be a very scarce die-marriage. Extraordinarily original, a somewhat dense layer of smoke-orange and greyish patina coats the entire surface yet still permits a substantial amount of luster to shine through. Better struck than what is typically expected off of New Orleans despite clashed dies.
