Decidedly nicer than a run-of-the-mill 1919-D, the very good strike and gorgeous mint luster overrule any objections for the collector who only wants a gem quality example. This coin fully appears to be every bit of a gem, and there are not even any perceptible contact marks to argue the point. A vibrant and extensively lustrous example of this well-known semi-key to the series.
