Fiery pinkish-orange mint color shines forth powerfully from surfaces that also display light, original toning in iridescent olive-brown. A boldly struck and attractive near-Gem for this scarce transitional hub variety in the early Indian cent series. The reverse is rotated approximately 45 degrees counterclockwise from normal coin alignment, a feature that adds interest for advanced collectors.
