THE ED WIELAWSKI OREGON COLLECTION Only 3,005 1939-S Oregon halves were produced, making it one of the lower mintage issues in the entire classic commemorative series. The presently offered SUPERB GEM is totally original, clearly carefully stored in an old album. Speckled peripheral toning graces highlights the rich, pearly silver and pewter patinated toning. Smartly struck and warmly lustrous, this is a wonderful example for the collector. PCGS 137, NGC 120, CAC 77. Two examples sold in June 2022, one at $900 and the other at $1,380.
