Nicholas Jackson Collection. Overton-107. The first "T" in STATES tilts left and two tiny spikes project upward from the eagle's beak. Terrific for the grade, plentiful almond-gold mint luster arises from the fields and takes on some champagne nuances at many viewing angles. Both sides offer vivid details. While not technically die-state "a", clash-marked "gills" do show across Liberty's ear, suggesting an intermediate die-state for this memorable MS-62 half-dollar.
