Description du lot: This is a gorgeous SUPERB GEM Cameo Proof Seated Liberty dime that was once a part of the famed Gene Gardner Collection. Stunning black and white contrast between the highly reflective mirrored fields and the thickly frosted, sharply struck devices. A frame of orange-gold and deep blue toning create a halo around both sides, adding to the SUPERB eye appeal. PCGS 3, NGC 6, CAC 7. NONE are finer at NGC. Most recently this coin sold for $3,360, in June 2018, and prior to that, it brought $3,995 in the Gardner sale of May 2015. Collectors Universe lists a value of $3,750.
