- 1795 Washington Grate Halfpenny. Baker-29AA, W-10955. Rarity-1. Large Buttons, Reeded Edge. MS-64 BN (NGC). The fields and devices are pleasing with minimal signs of handling and the color is a blend of medium brown with brassy-rose highlights in the recesses of the fields. The strike is average as the epaulette is a trifle soft and a few of the filigree draped laurel leaves are soft on the hearth. The reverse die was rotated about 30 degrees clockwise when struck.
