- 1869 Liberty Seated Half Dime. MS-65+ (NGC). CAC. A lustrous Gem with entirely prooflike fields and frosty motifs. Varied deep golden highlights grace the obverse, the reverse alive with rose and neon blue iridescence. Sharply struck. Date with 18 close, 8, 6, and 9 widely spaced. The present Gem represents the <em>only </em>""+"" designation for the date at NGC.
