A popular key date issue, the 1886-S was produced to extent of just 750,000 pieces, the lowest mintage for a San Francisco Mint Morgan dollar up to that point. With most survivors grading no finer than MS-64, this condition rarity MS-66 represents a significant find for quality conscious bidders.
