- Bert Davies Collection. Bluntly struck as it nearly always is, the reverse still manages a full horn and both sides display perceptible luster. Even more perceptible will be the strongly saturated violet and ruby-grey toning that shows throughout. A very difficult hole to fill in any better collection.
