Lot Description

A lovely Goloid metric dollar struck in the proposed goloid composition. Housed in an old green tag holder, this coin is fully choice. Original, quality surfaces show rich watery mirrors that gleam in the light. A dusting of light, iridescent toning with variegated hues seen on both sides. Sharply struck. Even using a strong glass there are no serious marks or lines that detract from the lovely eye appeal. PCGS 29, NGC 12, CAC 2. The current PCGS price is $2,500 and no PCGS/CAC coin has ever sold in auction. A non-CAC coin sold in June 2017 for $2,174 and in February 2013, an NGC-graded coin sold for $2,990.
