Lot Description

1831 Matron Head Cent. N-6. Rarity-1. Late Die State. Large Letters. MS-65 BN (NGC). Splendid quality and eye appeal with glossy tan color throughout, free of copper spots or carbon and a bold strike. The surfaces are mint fresh too, with minimal signs of handling. There are a couple of shallow nicks on Liberty's temple but the fields, cheek and neck are all pleasing otherwise.
