Lot Description

Just a trace of friction on Liberty’s cheek and the top of the eagle’s left wing.  Handsome and original antique toning.  If you covet “grey dirt” coins, this one deserves attention.  In the 192 years since it was hammered by, and ejected from the screw press, no one has tried to “improve” it.  Most unusual.  How refreshing!   Estimate: $600 to $800
