- 1884 Nickel Three-Cent Piece. AU-50 (NGC). Steel-gray surfaces exhibit no marks of consequence to the unassisted eye despite a reasonably long stint in circulation. Full lines present in the reverse denomination uprights. One of just 1,700 examples of the date struck for general circulation. PCGS# 3752.
