1882 Trade Dollar. Proof-65 (PCGS). A lovely Gem exhibiting sharp frosty devices and glittering mirror fields. Both sides exhibit original intermingled gold, gray and violet toning. A mere 1,097 trade dollars were coined during the year, all Proofs made to accommodate coin collector demand. The presently offered specimen ranks among the finest survivors of the issue, both technically and aesthetically. We expect many generous bids.
