Lot Description

1863 Seated Liberty Quarter. Proof-62 (PCGS). Light silver-steel with a blush of gold over the fields on the obverse, the reverse more evenly toned and attractive. Moderate hairlines from a past wiping and there is a lump over the 8 which must have been in the, a feature not commonly seen. Reasonably good contrast enhances the appeal.
