1897 Barber Dime. Proof-66 Cameo (PCGS). CAC. A richly original specimen, both sides are dressed in lovely iridescent toning of pinkish-gold. Direct viewing angles allow ready appreciation of mirrored reflectivity in the fields, the design elements fully struck and frosty. The 1897 (731 coins produced) is one of the scarcest Proof Barber dimes from the 1890s.
