The Crimson Collection. Logan-McCloskey-2. On the reverse, three lines per vertical stripe are distinctive, the last showing a bit of a blob at the upper half of the stripe. Proof examples were struck off of these exact same dies, although this circulation striking was taken after the dies had clashed together. Still, the cataloger must mention that the obverse looks fully semi-prooflike at minimum, mated to a wonderfully frosted and fully lustrous reverse. Shades of russet-gold streak across the obverse of this tantalizing and blatantly high-quality example.
