Lot Description

Nicholas Jackson Collection. Overton-107, "curl base 2, knob". Aside from the referenced logotype, a small tine that looks much like an extra hair strand strays into the lower left serif of "I" in LIBERTY. A particularly attractive specimen, satisfactory luster emanates from all of the fields, especially on the obverse, and neither side displays much friction although a number of smallish abrasions on Liberty's cheek undoubtedly ascertain the grade. Beautiful album luster incorporates a classic ocean-blue ring of color around pumpkin-grey and subtle lavender central areas.
