Lot Description

A truly PQ example, and for both the type and issue, this lustrous Gem sports uncommonly vivid and varied toning on both sides. Sharply defined, as well, and certain to sell for a nice premium. Although the 1926-S is the most plentiful S-Mint Peace dollar in Gem Mint State after only the 1935-S, the issue is seldom offered in grades above MS-64. Precious few MS-65s that we have offered through the years are as visually appealing as this one.
