Lot Description

1794 Liberty Cap Half Cent. C-2a. Rarity-2+. Manley Die State 2.0. Normal Head. Small Edge Letters. VF-25 BN (NGC). Reasonably smooth copper surfaces that are light brown with just a whisper of roughness in the fields. The strike is sharp and Liberty retains bold separation on her hair curls. A few minor handling marks, but far fewer than one would expect to encounter on an early half cent. Scarce this well preserved.
